Claudia established herself in Canada where she initiated a number of successful award-winning projects as actress, playwright, and producer. Her Canadian debut was in 2003 with her own play Loving Me is Not the Worst, performed to great acclaim at the London Fringe Theatre Festival.

Her inspirational play Never Another Girl Like Me that premiered at the London, Ontario, One-Act Festival in 2006, brought Claudia the Best Actress, Best Original Script, Best Production and the People’s Choice Awards. She received a Brickenden Award nomination for Excellence in Theatre in 2007 for the Best Original Script.

Claudia’s talent and determination quickly drew the attention of Canadian theatre personalities to her. The well-known Canadian playwright Paul Kinsella has written the comedy “Lingerie” for Claudia that premiered in 2007 at the London Theatre Festival. And another successful collaboration with the renowned Canadian playwright Jason Ripp culminated in Claudia premiering his play “Last Soul Stroll” in 2008, at the London Open Doors Event.

Her debut performance in Los Angeles (as Romanella Nostradama) was this year with The Big Magic If, a parody of a world premiere cyber simulcast with the newly formed Eastern European land of Kur-Esco (for their first ever television broadcast).

As a translator and coupled with her desire to create an artistic bridge between Romania and North America, Claudia enjoys working on translating some of her most beloved North American plays, soon to be published in a Romanian dramatic anthology.  Motea Renaissance Productions is Claudia’s theatrical company formed to build this dream. The play Tongues of Love by Romanian award-winning playwright Mihai Ignat was an extensive project involving artists in both countries that was mounted on the Canadian stage at the London Theatre Festival 2008. Claudia adapted and produced the show and was featured in the leading role.

Claudia’s newest projects will be presented on various stages in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Edinburgh and Romania.
